TRIP 3 IN REVIEW:
On trips 1 and 2, Collegiate Academy of Colorado sophomores used the Earth Force Process as a guide to discover and explore ten environmental issues affecting the ecosystem in the Audubon Society of Denver. After weeks of researching those issues in English and Chemistry class, talking to stakeholders and experts (including a biologist from Pheasants Forever) and narrowing down to the students' top three choices, the students came to a decision on which environmental problem to help solve. They spent the day dissecting albatross boluses from Midway Atoll, solving a camp fuel problem and writing descriptive observations about their chosen focal issue.
